Erick Jose Saladin is a Boeing 767 Captain for Amerijet International, with over 14,000 hours of flight time. He is based out of the Miami International Airport. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Eric moved at a young age to the United States, where he attended the Alabama Aviation & Technical College, obtaining an Associates degree in Applied Sciences in 1994.
Erick started his professional aviation career working as an airline pilot for Servicios Aéreos Profesionales S.A in Herrera International Airport, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where he worked as a First Officer in the L-410 and later in the Beach 1900.
From there he moved to Boston, where he worked as a Captain in the BA-3100 with Boston-Maine Airways, based out of Portsmouth, NH. In 2015, Captain Saladin moved back to Santo Domingo to work as an BA-3200 Captain for Aerolineas MAS, a year later moving to Miami to work as a Captain in the SF-340 for IBC Airways. In 2016, Erick joined Amerijet International as a Boeing 767 First Officer, where he remind to this day.
Erick enjoys jogging, reading and spending time with his daughter. He joined the Captain Council as his first volunteer work to help improve Dominican aviation.
