Irving Reynoso is a Captain at Delta Air Lines operating the Boeing 757 and 767, with more than 8,100 total flight hours, including extensive experience in Part 121 airline operations and corporate jet command. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate (Multi-Engine Land) and multiple type ratings, including the B757, B767, B777, ERJ-170, ERJ-190, Embraer 500, and Embraer 505, with over 5,200 hours in turbine aircraft and more than 2,700 hours as Pilot-in-Command in jet aircraft.

Currently based in New York, Irving serves as a Captain and Mentor at Delta Air Lines, where he operates at the highest standards of safety while fostering a professional, inclusive, and high-performance flight deck environment. In his mentoring role, he supports and develops future captains, emphasizing sound decision-making, leadership, and operational excellence.

Irving’s career spans commercial, international, and corporate aviation. Prior to Delta, he served as a Senior Demonstration Pilot and Instructor Pilot for Embraer Executive Jets, acting as Pilot-in-Command for aircraft demonstrations, customer support missions, and new-aircraft deliveries. His corporate experience also includes time as a Captain with Executive Flight Services (Airshare), where he managed complex trip planning, regulatory compliance, and real-time operational coordination in a just-culture environment.

Earlier in his airline career, Irving flew as a First Officer with Southern Air, gaining valuable international and oceanic experience, including multiple ocean crossings, Boeing FMC operations, and CPDLC procedures. He also served as a First Officer with Republic Airways, where he built a strong foundation in regional airline operations, crew resource management, and customer-focused service.

In addition to airline and corporate flying, Irving has unique experience in aerial mapping and international flight operations coordination, having flown survey missions over densely populated areas and supervised pilot teams operating worldwide, including in Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean, and across the United States.

Capt. Reynoso holds a Bachelor of Science in Flight Operations from Everglades University and is recognized for combining deep technical proficiency with leadership, mentorship, and a global operational perspective.
